Event Introducing the Dragons’ Den
The Dragons Den is a fun networking event, where you can pitch your project idea to an audience and win funding
You will have 3 minutes to “pitch” to the audience, explaining what your project is and how much funding you need. There will be 3-4 “dragons” who will ask you questions to help the audience decide if it’s a project that they think should be funded.
There is £5000 in the funding pot. You can apply for as much funding as you want up to that figure, but if you pitch for the full £5000 then to win any money, a majority of the audience would have to think your project is the only project that deserves funding! BECAUSE … Each audience member will have ballot card, and will only be able to “spend” up to £5000 on their ballot card.
Please note, only projects that the organisers believe will improve the lives of people in Honiton will get invited into the Dragons Den!
To apply you need to complete a short application in Word, which we need to receive by Monday 6th May.
Funded by Honiton Town Council, East Devon District Council and Devon County Council.
