Join writers Janis Lane and Phil Whitehead to explore the pebblebed of a stream from 300 million years ago alongside two literary themes: the multi-layered fairytale Hansel & Gretel and the inner turmoil of Virginia Woolf.  Phil and Jan will help you express your personal and creative responses in a writing journal.

On location at Woodbury Castle. All materials provided. Please bring a drink, snack and suitable footwear.

    The Pebblebed Heaths Conservation Trust was established by Clinton Devon Estates in 2006. Its creation was in response to increasing national and European recognition that lowland heathlands are a habitat rich in wildlife, are highly threatened, and require professional management to maximise their wildlife value.
