Action East Devon

Action East Devon, formerly EDVSA, is the leading local charity working with the people, communities and organisations of East Devon to create the services and support they need to live happier and healthier lives.

  • They offer advice, information and training to community, voluntary and social enterprise groups through the Council for Voluntary Service. 
  • They enable organisations to support and attract volunteers through their Volunteer Centre.
  • Through their database of community organisations they offer a single point of contact for voluntary and community sector services in East Devon. 
  • They provide a range of support, recovery and wellbeing opportunities for vulnerable people and their carers and are currently working with older people, young people with poor mental health and their parents/carers, people with learning disabilities and carers through the following services: Devon Carers, Counselling for Carers, Branching Out, the Project, Axminster Remembers, Forget Me Not, Axe Valley Visiting Scheme.
