Learn how to weave willow with Richard from Windrush Willow.
Make a 21" long by 6" high garden fence 'edging hurdle' with expert Richard and take it home with you in a day!
The course starts with a Health and Safety briefing and an explanation of the tools and how to use them. The setup, start, middle and finish of a 21” long by 6” high (woven area) edging hurdle will all be demonstrated. Students will make a number with different variations up to a maximum of 5 hurdles / person.
We assume you are a complete beginner and will gently guide you through each project.
Please bring a packed lunch.
Cost includes all willow materials, expert tuition and hot drinks, fresh fruit and biscuits throughout the day.
The class takes place in the peaceful Reed Base classroom in the heart of the Seaton Wetlands Nature Reserve.
