Event Bluebell Walk at Knapp copse (28th April 2pm-4pm)

A walk around Knapp Copse Nature Reserve in search of bluebells with a Wild East Devon ranger
The visit starts with an introduction to the nature reserve where you will be greeted by a Wild East Devon ranger who will introduce you to the fascinating nature and history of the reserve. You will find out how the team work to protect and enhance the reserve’s wildlife and visitors will also have opportunity to quiz the warden about what can be found in the water, trees and air as well as how the reserve is run.
Your guide will take you on a trail of discovery, well away from any crowds, to behind-the-scenes places where you can feel completely isolated and at ease and learn about the ins and outs of managing an award-winning nature reserve. Those booked on a walk could expect close encounters with insects, butterflies, nesting birds and spectacular views of Bluebells
With a highly qualified and experienced nature reserve ranger leading the way - learn all about the fascinating variety of wildlife that call the woodlands home, local and natural history of the area, relax and reflect, stay healthy and enjoy this gentle form of exercise and practice mindful walking to aid with gaining greater perspective, clarity and balance.
