Summer holiday club at Seaton Wetlands
Fun, engaging and adventurous outdoor holiday club for 7-11 year olds, based at Seaton Wetlands.
Everyday will be different with opportunities to learn about Wetlands wildlife, natural craft, use tools, cook on campfires and play. Max 16 children.
The week's events have been announced!
Monday & Tuesday: unfortunately cancelled due to low bookings.
Wednesday: messing about in the stream day: building dams, raft building, stream dipping with nets.
Thursday: Pirates day: Percy the parrot has been kidnapped by some naughty Pirates – complete a series of challenges to rescue Percy: includes: making treasure out of natural materials, following a trail using a map to explore the wetlands, crossing a ‘crocodile infested swamp’ and more….
Friday: Team challenges day: work as part of a team to follow a trail, crack a code and carry an egg through a series of challenges without cracking it.
Structure of day:
Morning: structured activities linked to the theme of the day.
Afternoon: natural craft linked to the theme for the day, games, opportunities to play, campfire cooking for snack time.
Children will need to bring a water bottle and packed lunch.
Morning fruit snack and campfire cooked afternoon snack provided.
