Pond dipping at Seaton wetlands
Pond dipping

Axe Vale wildlife day is back with pond dipping, bug hunting and much more!

Come down to Seaton Wetlands to browse the stalls, enjoy some refreshments and get involved with the exciting wildlife activities we have planned

There will be pond dipping, bug hunting and bird identification in the Island Hide and children's events with EDDC ranger Penny.

Moth identification will be in the reed-base at 10am and at midday Mike Lock will lead a botanical stroll around Colyford Common.

We are excited to welcome Anne Swithinbank back with a nature table, starting at 1pm and running throughout the afternoon. We are asking people to send in photographs of interesting natural sightings prior to the day or bring objects in on the day which will be showcased in the Reedbase. Anne will be happy to help you identify your finds and display lovely images.

With your help we will create an exciting Nature Table for us all to share. Anne is looking forward to seeing your finds.
