Willow Cheese Tray

Make a selection of Willow Trugs and Trays and take them home with you in a day

Learn how to weave willow with Richard from Windrush Willow.

Make a selection of Willow Trugs and Trays and take them home with you in a day!

The course starts with a Health and Safety briefing and an explanation of the tools and how to use them. We will insert 8 sticks into the Jig and then start at one end with one row of a pairing weave. We will then rand to the other end and finish with one row or pairing. We will finish each end with a simple border and then add a central wrapped handle.

We assume you are a complete beginner and will gently guide you through each project.

Please bring a packed lunch.

Cost includes all willow materials, expert tuition and hot drinks, fresh fruit and biscuits throughout the day.

The class takes place in the peaceful Reed Base classroom in the heart of the Seaton Wetlands Nature Reserve.
