To kick off the launch of our new project, Wild Honiton, we have a fun packed day on the 1st May!

Go wild in Honiton, Join us for our launch day at Honiton Bottom Nature Reserve from 10am-3pm for crafts, walks and activities for all ages. 

We will be joined by Julie from Devon Loves Dogs for a Waggy walk at 10am and Anna from The Thelma Hulbert Gallery with their creative craft cabin. 

Apart from the walks all of our activities are drop, no need to book! 

  • Bug box making - Use small tools and natural materials to create a bee box. Make seed bombs to encourage bees and pollinators to your garden.
  • Stream dipping - Bring your wellies to have a go at fishing in the stream
  • Bat & Bird box making - Put together a bird or bat box to take away and encourage wildlife set up home in your garden
  • Bug hunting - Use sweep nets to search the long grass and find the minibeasts hiding there
  • Wildlife spotter sheets to get you exploring the nature reserve
  • Willow weaving - Join the rangers to weave a living willow shelter
  • Site walk with ranger Jon at 1.30pm

We have an activity for all ages. 

Wild Honiton aims to celebrate the nature on your doorstep and connect you to your local nature reserve
