1. How to complain
You can complain by using any of the following methods:
- by telephoning the monitoring officer on 01395 517408
- by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org
- in writing to the monitoring officer
Please describe which paragraph(s) of the code of conduct you think the councillor has breached and make clear the supporting evidence you have.
Once received, we will acknowledge your complaint within five working days and you can expect a response on the next stage of your complaint within four weeks.
If you decide to make your complaint by telephone we may ask you to submit the detail of your complaint in writing or by email.
