East Devon District Council, and our consultants CH2M have been working on a Beach Management Plan for Seaton. We are now at a stage in that study where we are looking at potential options to manage the risk of coastal erosion, and coastal flooding from Axmouth spit to Seaton Hole.

CH2M have considered a wide range of options including those put forwards by members of the public, and stakeholder groups. These have been considered those against technical, environmental and economic criteria derived from the technical assessments undertaken for the BMP.

East Devon, and our consultants CH2M will be in the foyer of Tesco Seaton (Harbour Rd, Seaton EX12 2PB) from 3pm until 7pm on Thursday 7th December 2017 to seek local people’s views on the various options for managing the risk of erosion, and flooding to the Town.

Please join us, view the information, and have your say.
