Parishes Together Funding 2016 / 2017
Parishes Together Funding is the sum of £1.10 per elector in each parish that is put by EDDC and Devon County Council into a pot that the parishes can then apply for. Parishes have to work together to apply for the funding. The EDDC New Homes Bonus Panel regularly meets to decide on the applications. The following table is a list of funding that has been approved by the New Homes Bonus Panel in 2016/ 2017, this totals £100,182 which will be spent on community projects.
There was £120,139.80 available in the Parishes Together Fund from 2016/2017. All monies leftover from previous years are kept and the New Homes Bonus Panel can distribute in future years to particularly worthy projects that need an extra bit of funding.
