1. Making a homeless application

If you do not feel able to remain in your current accommodation please contact our Housing Options team to make a homeless application.

A Housing Officer will carry out a Full Housing Assessment and advise on options available to you.

If you become homeless as a result of domestic abuse the Council may consider that you are in 'priority need'.  This will be determined by your personal circumstances.

If you are identified as being in priority need, the Council will have a duty to provide you with emergency accommodation whilst looking at alternative longer term options.
