7. Supply a return for a charitable house to house collection

How to supply a return

Once you've carried out your house to house collection you'll need to supply a return giving an account of the monies raised.

You'll need to do this within on month of the collection.

You can complete your return online.  We'll need to know:

  • the name of the charity or fund which is to benefit
  • the place of the collection
  • how much was collected
  • expenses spent in carry out the collection

An accountant will need to give a certificate to confirm that the return is a true account of the collection.

Payments

There is no cost for supplying the return.
