  • April 2024
    • We have appointed Ann Skippers to examine the Clyst Honiton neighbourhood plan.
    • We have received an application from Plymtree Parish Council for the whole of the parish of Plymtree to be designated as a new Neighbourhood Area.  
  • February 2024:
    • We launched the consultation on the Regulation 16 Submission Version of the Clyst Honiton Neighbourhood Plan.  This closed in April.  Details can be found by visiting the Clyst Honiton Neighbourhood Plan information. 
  • November / December 2023:
    • As part of the on-going preparation of a new Local Plan for East Devon, the Planning Policy team surveyed all Town and Parish Councils regarding neighbourhood planning activity and intentions.  The survey closed 15th December 2023.  The results will be made publicly available in due course.  They are already being used to inform the emerging new Local Plan.
    • The latest area to be designated as a Neighbourhood Area is West Hill.  Following consultation, the application for designation was approved on 6 December 2023.
