Tree pests and diseases

Trees are living ecosystems and support a diverse range of life. Some of these can cause tree health problems.

Of current interest in East Devon are:

• Ash dieback disease
• Sweet chestnut blight

To identify a tree pest or disease see the Government's Guide to tree pests and diseases by tree species To report a sighting, please complete the Forestry Research on-line Tree Alert Please ensure you check the symptoms before reporting it.
