11. Sidmouth Toilets

Category A Toilets

Toilets that will be refurbished.

  • Sidmouth - Connaught Gardens Public Toilets.
  • Sidmouth - Triangle Public Toilets.
  • Sidmouth - Either the Market Place or Port Royal Public Toilets would be retained depending on any redevelopment of these sites, or there would be new alternative provision. This would be a prime tourist / town centre location. 

Category B Toilets

EDDC will be looking at other options for the site, like to:

- Advertise lease opportunities for sites to be used for things like cafés, which include public toilets.

- Allow town or parish councils and community groups to make bids to take over the sites. 

- Sell the public toilets.

  • Sidmouth - Market Place Public Toilets. Significant redevelopment opportunity as town centre site.
  • Sidmouth - Port Royal (Alma Bridge) Public Toilets. Potential for commercial use tied to Port Royal.
