Service Apply to change the name of a club or the registered address
Overview
If you hold a club premises certificate then you'll need to tell us if you change the name of your club or the registered address.
How to tell us
You'll need to send us an email telling us the new name or registered address of the club. Please also tell us the old name, the address of the premises and the club premises certificate number.
Restrictions
The club secretary (on behalf of the club premises certificate holder) or their agent will need to complete the form.
Payments
You'll be charged a fee for this application. Please make sure you are aware of how much this will cost.
Data Protection
Any personal information which you provide will be held and used by East Devon District Council for the purpose of the licensing service to process your application to change the name or registered address of a club and administer any related club premises certificate. Your information may also be shared within East Devon District Council for the purposes of carrying out our lawful functions. Otherwise your personal information will not be disclosed to anybody outside East Devon District Council without your permission, unless there is a lawful reason to do so, for example disclosure is necessary for crime prevention or detection purposes. Your information will be held securely and will not be retained for any longer than is necessary. There are a number of rights available to you in relation to our use of your personal information, depending on the reason for processing. You'll need to telephone us with your credit or debit card details.
You'll need to send us your existing club premises certificate in the post.
We'll send you a replacement certificate (showing the new name or registered address of the club) which you'll need to make sure is:
- kept at the premises under the control of a nominated person
- that the summary of the certificate is put up at the premises in a place where it can be easily read by members of the public
