The consultation on the East Devon Draft Local Plan 2020-2040 ran from Monday, November 7th 2022 until Sunday, January 15th 2023.
The Commonplace consultation web site is still available to view, although you can no longer submit comments.
The full text of the Draft Local Plan and the accompanying Sustainability Appraisal is available to view.
Comments and feedback received will be published and not treated as confidential.
The Local Plan Evidence Base and Supporting Documents are also available to view.
Policy Maps
The consultation on the Sustainability Appraisal (SA) report, which accompanies the Draft Local Plan, ran from Monday, November 7th 2022 until Sunday, January 15th 2023.
The Sustainability Appraisal report assesses the policies and sites in the Draft Local Plan against a series of key environmental, social and economic objectives.
It also assesses alternative policies and sites, where reasonable, and explains why the preferred policies and sites have been chosen over the alternatives.
Work will be updated as policy work develops and evolves and new versions of the plan are drafted over the coming months.
