7. What are the charges?

Sampling visits are £80. The cost of sample analysis is charge depending on the type of analysis.

Risk Assessment are £300 and includes samples (Analysis fees are added depending on the samples).

Investigations are charged at £100 plus £25 per hour and analysis fees.

Where a pre-arranged visit cannot be carried out a charge of £80 will be made if:

  • the customer(s) has not attended, or
  • has not arranged a suitable person to attend, or
  • cancellation of the visit is not received within 24 hours prior to the arranged visit

The Council has discretion to vary the fee arrangements on a case-by-case basis.

All fees will be reviewed on an annual basis.

Sample Analysis Fees

These fees are set by our accredited laboratory for the analysis of water samples on an annual basis.
