2. What if you can't pay?
As soon as you realise you are having difficulties paying your Council Tax please contact us by calling 01395 517446 or emailing counciltax@eastdevon.gov.uk.
We can help you to find out if you are paying the right amount or whether you are entitled to a reduction, for example, with a single person discount, or with Council Tax Reduction.
We may be able to help by rescheduling your instalments. Dealing with debt before it gets worse is of the utmost importance.
Whatever the circumstances, please do not ignore the bill.
