3. Budleigh

Budleigh Salterton is a small, picturesque town on the coast of East Devon, 15 miles south-east of Exeter. It is situated on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast, in the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and lies at the mouth of the River Otter. An upmarket town brimming with fresh local produce, designer boutiques and stunning surroundings, Budleigh Salterton remains one of Devon’s most unspoilt and charming towns.

Beach
The beautiful, long and flat pebble beach extends for 2.5 miles along the Jurassic Coast, from Littleham Cove to the west, to Otterhead in the east, where the River Otter meets the sea.

The views from the South West coast path and Jubilee Park, above the beach are breathtaking.

There is easy access, and additional event space, from the large car park in front of the beach.
