9. Budleigh Salterton
Budleigh Salterton is a picturesque town in the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Situated on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast, it has 2 miles of pebble beach which attracts swimmers and fishermen and each year there is a Christmas Day Swim. An upmarket town brimming with fresh local produce, designer boutiques and stunning surroundings, Budleigh Salterton remains one of Devon’s most unspoilt and charming towns.

The Beach
Budleigh Salterton’s picturesque town has 2 miles of Seaside Award winning pebble beach, situated on the World Heritage Jurassic Coast, in the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Situated towards the East end of Budleigh beach is the large and popular Lime Kiln Car park, which has over 400 spaces – perfect for a large events such as a drive in cinema or funfair. Lime Kiln also has beautiful views of the beach and beach huts.
The Green
Located close to the town centre, The Green offers a large open access site, with a car park at the southern end and a drop kerb for excellent vehicle access to the park. Popular for community events including the Budleigh Literary Festival and bi-annual Food and Drink Festival, the Green has potential to host a multitude of functions, including educational, community, charity and festival style events.
There is a small Victorian style shelter in the middle of the park, which could easily be used as a focal point for photos and any special occasion looking for a stunning backdrop.
The Green has electricity and water conveniently located in the centre of the park for events that may require it.
Jubilee Field
Jubilee Park is set high up on the clifftop with outstanding views across an attractive green-space close to the centre of Budleigh Salterton. Jubilee Park is perfect for community events and has previously played host to the annual Firework display in Budleigh.
