2. Beer beach

Beer is a small village built around a small cove. The beach is sheltered from most winds.

It has a steep pebble beach into deep water. There are no lifeguard facilities.

The village has limited on street parking but there is a large pay and display car park in the village centre and an additional one a steep walk away on western cliff top.

Dogs are welcome all year on the beach east of the slip way and on the west beach from 1 October to the end of 30 April each year.

There are toilets, cafés, shops and pubs in the village. The beach has beach cafés, deck chair hire, beach hut hire and boat hire and trips.
