13. Refusal of offers

An applicant’s position within the register may be affected if they continually refuse an offer of accommodation which they have bid for and have successfully been offered. An applicant will have their banding reduced to the minimum band following the refusal of at least 3 properties in such circumstances unless there were acceptable reasons for  those  refusals  or  the  application  may be  cancelled,  the  final  decision  will  be referred to the Housing Enabling and Allocations Manager.
