12. Is this project looking at the repairs to the seawall damaged by recent storms?
No. The repairs to the section of seawall that failed in October 2023 are being taken forward as a separate project by East Devon District Council. We hope to be starting repair works on site in late February and complete the essential works before May 2024. We will then return after the summer season to carry out further works.
The repair works will be considered and inform the options appraisal in Stage 3 of the Beach Management Plan Update.
